Today’s SFS weekly video production solely sprouted from my ideas. From the camera angle, transition, and script, I was able to contribute heavily. Usually, before I entered this committee, these types of videos were filmed in one sitting. Personally, I did not think that I could continuously grasp students’ attention. Therefore, I suggested various angles and shots that are unusual so that the information of the video is more memorable. The video was created for about an hour, utilizing both during and after school. One of the most memorable moments today was jumping around and acting weird in front of the camera. Specifically, it was the scene outside where I had to let the other anchor say her line. I absolutely LOVE being involved in these types of videos since I can just expose my weird self into the world. I was more proud of the video after many of the teachers acknowledged my energy. They also mentioned how I was able to lighten up once of the worst days of the week! I am so glad that the video brought laughter even when the teachers and students are suffering from monday, the first period.
