For today’s game, we went to Humphries. Whenever I visit the American base, I know that the day will be EXTRA fun since the area LOOKS like America, but it’s Korea! The snacks they sell and the vibes are just different. Today, I played as the defender again. As Humphries was one of the teams that had the strongest serves, I was proud of receiving it with accuracy and confidence. For the whole day today, I felt extremely sick. After the APAC game at Hanoi, everyone on the team got extremely sick. Maybe there was a flu going around, and I was right. I am writing this after testing positive for the flu. During the game, I was able to successfully utilize the 2-step method, where I would shift sideways to receive the ball that was flying far away from my body. Although I had a high temperature and had felt extremely sick, I was still able to display my best.
