Today was carnival day! At the beginning of the day, before the carnival, our team went to feed. First, we went to a market where we followed the guide around. There, we purchased a lot of snacks to distribute later. It was pretty fun as I was able to grab a bunch of snacks as if it was all mine HEHE. When we met the children, we prayed and distributed the food. One of the most memorable parts of this moment was when a group of boys that were a little younger than us wanted to get a picture with me, and they told me they wanted to marry me. Yeah, I can see your facial expression from here. It was a pretty creepy, but one time experience that I will never forget in my life. After all of that, it was time to get ready for the carnival. I was extremely excited when I noticed that about 100 children are joining us today. I took charge of the face painting session, and I believe that it was very successful as a lot of people were standing in line, eager for their turn. I finished the day with a little swim with my friends.
