EFA: RETIREMENT HOME PERFORMANCE

23.12.22

Wearing black and red to present Christmas vibes, we finally arrived at the nursing home to perform for the very first time. In the first two rows, there were grandmothers and grandfathers whose birthdays were in December. Every month, children would perform for a specific group of people, specifically if it was their birthday. There were many other performances, such as a choir and other Korean dances. While we were watching them, we became a little nervous. I was worried that they wouldn’t enjoy KPOP or POP dances since they enjoy traditional Korean dances. It was our turn, and we performed it. I want to deeply appreciate the energy the first-row audience gave us all throughout the performance. It was as if they were about to get out of their wheelchair to join us dancing. It was extremely difficult to resist laughing. The comments from the audience were, “MORE! MORE! MORE!!!!” and “Why are they not singing?!?” Although we did not sing, I was fully satisfied with how joyful they were during the performance.
